Justine Oldfield-Rowell – AIP Divisional Chair
justine@bacp.co.uk

I have an MA in Humanistic Psychology and work as BACP/UKRC Registered Practitioner/Counsellor and a BACP Registered Supervisor, and in my spare time, my finger is in the pie of the family fishing tackle business. Over the years I have developed a quirky sense of humour and a passion for the development of the profession of counselling in this country, no-one having asked me to develop either in any other countries unfortunately. My current interests are: understanding supervision issues and exploring on-line work. I have been a member of AIP in a past, as well as the present, format and am looking forward to taking it into the cyber era whilst continuing to help it grow and develop in all other respects.

I am contactable on justine@bacp.co.uk or by phone on 07739 796389. For those still preferring the pen, please write to me at: Justine Oldfield-Rowell, 6–10 Bowsden Terrace, South Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 1RX.

Margaret Akmakjian-Pitz – AIP Deputy Chair and Journal Editor
o2quiver@aol.com

I am a counsellor in a private practice in south-west Wales helping people with issues ranging from depression to relationship difficulties, to grief, and all steps in between. My approach is one of empathy and understanding – what is not working and why, and what can be done to change what cannot be endured – or to endure what cannot be changed. I satisfy my need to organise things by handling the logistics for AIP Practitioner Days and by editing the well respected, entertaining and informational AIP journal 'News and Views' for which contributions are always welcome.

Revised biography to appear here shortly...

Tony Hutchinson – AIP Finance Officer
tony@softsolutions.fsnet.co.uk

I am a BACP/UKRC registered practitioner and have been counselling for nine years. I work in a variety of settings and have a small private practice as well. I specialise in post-traumatic stress counselling and working with men and women who are victims of domestic violence. I lecture and train in these subjects as well as counselling topics generally. I am a Church of England Minister and have a particular interest in spirituality, not necessarily religious, and how this may appear in the counselling room. I keep sane by listening to and going to opera and expanding my stamp collection.
